The effort to pass a REAL Constitutional Carry bill is starting to heat up, and at the dead center of this whole debacle is State Representative Chuck Brannan (R-Macclenny).

Here’s a few important details about Chuck that gun owners need to know.

Chuck is the sponsor of House Bill 543, which is the establishment’s House version of Permitless Concealed Carry.  

The very plain truth about HB543 is that it is not Constitutional Carry like Governor DeSantis and gun owners statewide have been calling for.

Real Constitutional Carry, like 25 other states have passed, recognizes the right of Florida citizens to carry firearms in whatever way they see fit, INCLUDING open carry.

Of course, some gun owners don’t like the idea of open carry (and that’s their right to believe that) but for other gun owners, open carry is the option that makes sense, especially considering the time of year, clothing options, physical ability, etc.

Open carry is only outlawed in a few states: New York, parts of California, Illinois and… Florida.

The problem is, Chuck Brannan is going around telling everyone that he is sponsoring and passing Constitutional Carry!

Why would he do that?

The answer is simple: last year, Chuck Brannan was the committee chairman who refused to advance and then killed former Representative Anthony Sabatini’s REAL Constitutional Carry bill.

And after getting politically beat up over it, Chuck Brannan is desperately trying to reinvent himself as a pro-gun legislator by rebranding “permitless concealed carry” as “Constitutional Carry.”

He was caught on camera berating a gun rights activist recently – you’ve gotta see this:

As you can see, Brannan rants, raves and berates the very calm and collected FSU student that if she doesn’t like his compromise that she should vote for a Democrat!

That’s why we are urging you to contact Representative Brannan immediately and demand that he apologize for attacking the FSU student, amend HB543 to legalize Open Carry, and pass REAL Constitutional Carry out of the Florida House!

There is absolutely NO reason why Open Carry legalization can’t pass this year. I know it, you know it, and he knows it.

The reality of the situation is that there isn’t much difference between a lazy, RINO Republican who won’t do his job and a Democrat.

Both types of politicians are detrimental to the direction of this state and our country.

That’s why I’m asking you to call or text message Chuck Brannan personally at the number below and tell him to stop blocking the Open Carry repealer, add it to HB543 like any American would do, and pass REAL Constitutional Carry!
